Donald Trump offered his "condolences" on Sunday to the victims of the Chelsea explosion in a seemingly well-intentioned tweet with which there was one big problem: No one died in the Saturday evening blast.
"I would like to express my warmest regards, best wishes and condolences to all of the families and victims of the horrible bombing in NYC," the GOP nominee tweeted Sunday morning about the explosion that rocked a Chelsea street Saturday night.
So what's the problem? I have always despised Trump - for all those years he was a Democrat, and now that he's a Republican. I think he's simply a despicable person, and it has nothing to do with partisanship or politics
But since when has it been wrong to offer condolences for people who have been injured, and for their loved ones?
Sure, his using terror attacks to brag about himself is wrong, but I see nothing wrong with his offering condolences in this case.
